About Us
Established in 2018 by Alison Deegan-Barry and Tara Quirke, Witch Hazel Films’ focus is on generating compelling narratives that question us about what it is to be human. With many years’ experience as actors playing on the other side of the camera or on stage, we bring our many skills together to create rather than interpret stories, partnering with production companies that have the expertise to do all of the legal/logistical/technical stuff. These co-producers include Max Films Ireland, Starcross Entertainment UK and Obilisk Media Ireland.
